How can you hit what you can’t see? It’s called beep baseball and for about a dozen New Jersey residents, the adaptive sport is a way for them to hit a home run. The ball beeps and the bases buzz. Combined with several sighted volunteers, it takes just a few rule modifications to make the game work.

Ramsey beats River Dell to win North 1 Group 2 NJ HS football final

Senior halfback Zach Donnarumma rushed for 266 yards and scored four touchdowns on 26 carries to lead Ramsey to a North I, Group II Championship. The Rams defeated River Dell 36-10 at Giants Stadium to earn its first sectional championship since 2002.

Kean University football "adopts" 12-year-old boy with brain cancer

Wide eyed 12-year-old Tommy Frankel walked into a Kean University meeting room was greeted by 70 new big brothers. The University is working with Friends of Jaclyn, a nonprofit organization that helps place pediatric brain tumor patients with college and high school sports teams across the country.

St. John Vianney wrestler Colton Bigelow knows adversity. In 2007, his father - pro wrestler "Bam Bam" Bigelow was found dead. In 2009, a close friend and teammate died suddenly of a brain seizure. This year, he struck up a close friendship with teammate Anthony Ferraro. Ferraro knows something about adversity himself - he's blind.
